After being home for two weeks, I'm off again tomorrow to New Zealand and Australia for 11 days. The things I do for work. Should be an interesting trip when they send you an itiniery with "Drinking" outlined and no VPs or CEO accompanying. See ya in a few.

After all my travels and a gross day in the office I sat down to watch TV for the first time in probably 4 weeks to watch the opening of a show which forced me to blog, a new reality dating show featuring 13 midgets called "The littliest groom". This is sad tv. Not like Beyonce and Christina at the NBA All-Star game the night before. After less than two months of work, despite 4 of them traveling, I can honestly state a more than 6 month vacation can only lead to bad things. You'll never want to retire more than after a break like that. Unless you have a job like Tones, the Director of Marketing at Stonestreet Winery. Some more great news from the hommies, Wes "Bundy" Smith and wife Mary will be having twins, one boy & one girl. Congratulations.

THE KING IS DEAD. I am proud to announce, my boy, my old roommate, school mate, wingman, traveling companion, drinking buddy, wine teacher, one of my closest friends who has written the book on partying, Tony Baldini, is offically engaged as of this weekend to the beautiful Caroline. It seems just like yesterday we were dancing with 4 Spanish girls in Sevilla til 6am. Or drinking to excess in Barcelona, Virgin Islands, Florence, Milan, Vegas, NY, Minn, San Francisco, San Diego, Napa, TJ, ...... If you've noticed I've never chroniceled Tones the Mad Bones or even mentioned stories in my blog, its for two reasons......there are too many and he has too many of me as well. But most of you are either good friends with Tones or have met him and know that he is one of the most honest, intelligent, genuine, good hearted, good natured pretty boys around. He is a true friend I have grown to count on for the likes of over 15 years. I'm not sure I could even come close to matching the number of fun nights out I've had with Tones. I know Tones is ready for this new adventure and I wish them both all the love & luck in the world. Lift your wine glass and toast the engaged Tony & his fiance Caroline CONGRATULATIONS.

Back from my around the world journey after 15 days. After business dinners and events almost every night and sitting in between partners from South Africa & Ukraine to Sri Lanka & India, I'm glad to be home. And after some learning experiences in Spain, I gain some more in Asia primarily all the last night of our 5 day event where I:
1) got hammered with the CEO & his wife sitting at my table
2) repeatedly called a VP "Fat Boy" re-titled him "WW Loser"
3) had a beer chugging contest with a New Zealand partner for the "America's Cup"
4) had the CEO's wife repeatedly tell me to shut up
I surprised myself in following up my nights in Spain. My days were equally exciting as in my first presentations to Asia staff I used "HP" instead of "Kodak" to describe my business, then doing it again in my presentation to partners two days later. The new kid is no longer new. But if you have to do two weeks of travel, ending in 90 degree weather in a resort on an island overlooking the ocean conducting customer meetings drinking champagne outdoors in a suite patio is the way to do it. The best was seeing a monkey on my balcony one morning. If you're heading to Singapore, check out the Rasa Shaghri-la on Sentosa island. But I did miss Janet's Nasty SuperBowl and the Grammy's. Thank goddness for the internet. In town for two days then out to Vegas for a few. Here's to no visits by HR.

Its 4:00am in Singapore on Sunday, a national holiday. Things I've learned in the last day:
1) The body is an incredible force. After about 4 hours of sleep four nights ago and 3 hours of sleep the last two nights, one can fly 20 hours from Europe to Asia, stay awake and party til 4AM.
2) Tony Keeler - Don't ever fly around the world in coach.
3) Sea horses are the only male beings to give birth. They give birth to about 10000 offlings, but only a few survive.
4) While I hate eating alone, I love expensing really expensive dinners & wine in over-expensive resort twons like Porto Banao near Marbella.
5) My good buddy Max from SD can, after several beers, be fooled into thinking a hot Thai girl likes him who is actually a she-male in a bar in Singapore.
The Super Bowl is less than 3 hours from now, but I'm sure I won't be watching. Two free days before my meetings starts. Have fun.
