Congratulations to one of my best friends, Wes & Mary Smith who gave birth to twin girls late Saturday night. I forgot to ask names. And this was just after talking to him the day before when he told me my blog sucked. Another big event happened this weekend when I cleaned my entire kitchen counter for the first time since I moved in 6+ years. It was gloomy at the beach. My next plan is to replace the floor instead of scrubbing it.

Summer has finally started and the villa is now open. After a soft opening with Mike Asport a few weekends ago, last weekend opened with the Isola family (Kevin, Eileen, Jack & Milo) driving out from Scottsdale for 5 nights & 4 days. With 4 adults, 1 baby & 3 dogs, the Inn has never seen such flurry since the Barneys last visit. But perfect weather, great food, good beach days with other friends joining us turned out a good time. Jack is getting big and was crawling all over my pad playing with the dogs proving that my place is kid friendly. I even taught my godson how to slap ass. Good times.
