Visits

I had two great visits recently, seeing Lynn & Ryan Pescherine and the Barney family. Had a great time catching the sunset, having dinner and playing with Ryan, who is the spitting image of his Dad, Mike. Had the Barneys in for Memorial Day weekend where we hit the beach everyday, checked out some estate sales and took Maddie on her first ocean kayak.

Travel

Lots of good travel recently and some memorable meals. For business, have been to Vegas, Boise, Pittsburg, Phoenix, and the Netherlands. In Vegas, hooked up with the annual UCD Pike trip and drank nonstop with Keeler, Peters, Oard, Straw and Fordiani primarily at Mandalay Bay. Spent a great Saturday in perfect weather poolside in a cabana drinking from morning to morning. Had some great meals at Burger Bar, Border Grill, Lotus of Siam, Golden Steer. In Pittsburg, hooked up with an old PSU friend, Dave Hogg, for a great dinner at Kaya one night with another good meal at Seviche another night. Recently back from a week in the Netherlands, where I attended a 6 hour mtg. I spent the rest of the weekend in Amsterdam with a great Indonesean dinner at Temple Doploe and an Ethiopian dinner both in the Rembrantplein area. Also, had a great 4 day weekend driving up the coast wine tasting in Santa Barbara and Paso Robles, hitting 13 wineries and several great meals. I highly recommend Paso Robles wines,
Artisian restaurant and the Villa Nel Mondo B&B in Paso. Home for a few weeks to get in a few camping trips before heading to Japan. Here's a few pictures from my travels. Enjoy
