I can't imagine your life was any more exciting even before Joe living in sub-freezing weather 9 months out of the year eating pork chops on a stick hanging out with your buddy, Ben watching him eat mustard. Or even when you lived in NY above a gay bar in the Village. Now that I know what you're up to, I'll try to step it up for you. I thought your "I Love Hillary" web site and garage sale antiquing would have kept you more busy. I did have 3 nights out in South Carolina last week where I drank alot at 2 business dinners, made fun of my new boss and made fun of a Director of HR I just met for drinking white Zin and ate food off her plate. I then flew directly into Sac for lunch with my parents before picking Sim up at the airport and driving thru Davis to Tony Keelers in the East Bay. After wine at Primos, we had a great dinner at the new Ruth Chris in Walnut Creek. The next day, we went to Tony & Caroline's engagement party where there was much imbibing. It was good to see Tony & Mike Hiddleson wrestling on hard wood floors, just like they used to a couple of decades ago. I then got to see Mr & Dr Wes Smith with baby Payton and soon to come twins the next day. Then back to Sac for another big dinner with the folks before flying back into SD on Monday and going straight into work. And you know what work is.......its not as exciting as sourcing packaging for Yoplait drink containers.

How many of my really good friends havn't been down to San Diego to visit me in the last 8+ years?? Only ONE. The same one, who gets bankrolled by his Dr dentist wife, just learned to use the internet, spends more time looking at porn on his computer than using it for work, which is gauging people by the hour at an exhorbinent rate as he talks to his buddies on the phone all day. It could be because he can't get away for one night, venture even into SF half hour away or stay up past 9pm. In any case, with 3 daughters, I'm sure he will have many sleepless nights to come, especially once they start dating and I remind him of all the sick things he did to a girl he picked up at the Grad on 5 for 1 night named Maria Bonita. And since I only see him when I come to him, I'll get to see Meat next weekend on my trip north. And don't kid yourself....he doesn't know who even Jennifer Lopez is either.
