Just back from my first business trip of the year after virtually no travel in Dec or Jan. 5 straight nights of eating & boozing it up in South Carolina & Florida, where the weather was great. With perfect timing as I missed 6 straight days of rain in So Cal. I got to experience Greenville, SC nightlife on a Friday night with the locals. The best story I've heard in a long time was a guy whose wife stabbed him during dinner blocking her thrust towards his chest with his forearm. And then him telling me "and I still stayed with her for another 8 months." Only in the South. But those Southern Belles....

I know theres alot of secret MTV watchers out there and if you see a show called "Sweet Sixteen" see if its the episode of a blonde La Jolla gal who's Dad throws her a $500k birthday party. They filmed the entire thing in LJ with scenes right at my beach. I saw it while unpacking Tuesday night, then while at the gym yesterday afternoon saw the gal working out right next to me. Daddy also spent cash on her chest. She was no sweet 16....more like slutty 24 year old.

And my biggest quandry for the past several months is: what kind of comeback do you say to a little, slutty 22 year old who after asking what she's drinking at the bar says "Vodka Cranberry. What is this your first time to a bar??" My initial response was going to be "F^&(*& Off you little biatch" while simultaneously slamming her head into the bar, but my friend next to me was laughing so hard I got flustered.

I'm in town for two more weeks, then hitting the road hard core with trips to the South, NY, Canada, Vegas, and Europe for a total of 5 weeks. Then its SE Asia in May. Unless I get re-orged out of a job. Then its beachtime in LJ. And hanging with Sweet 16 at my gym.

And next time you're at a cheesy restuarant that gives you one of those blinking beepers to let you know when your table is ready, when you hand it back to the hostess say "How do you like my bling??" It could have been the multiple cocktails, but thats funny.
